From March 23 rd to 28 th, MIRUS took part in the Ontario Oil and Gas Mission to China. During the trip, MIRUS participated in a workshop, roundtable and market briefing in Chengdu, as well as the China International Petroleum and Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CIPPE) in Beijing.
Workshop, Roundtable and Market Briefing
The workshop section of the Oil and Gas Mission was an exciting event that connected key oil and gas companies in the region to Canadian counterparts. The goal of the workshop was to educate both sides on potential business opportunities through networking sessions, introductory presentations and roundtable seminars. MIRUS had the opportunity to give a brief introduction to the company and its products, while being matched with key regional oil and gas suppliers.
CIPPE - The 15th China International Petroleum and Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition
The event hosted 1,800 exhibitors from 65 countries, 65,000 professional visitors and had 16 international pavilions.
Trade Mission - NEXEN CNOOC
China Oilfield Services Ltd. (COSL) is a leading integrated oilfield service provider under CNOOC (China National Offshore Oil Company), and MIRUS was one of six companies invited to a COSL workshop during a weeklong Nexen CNOOC sponsored event in Beijing. Join MIRUS’ Director of Sales, Al Archambault in this complementary webinar that will cover some of the recent changes made to IEEE Std. 519. The webinar will focus on the guideline differences associated with low voltage systems. Al will use the installation of low voltage Adjustable Speed Drives (ASDs) to demonstrate to owners, operators and consulting engineers how the differences between the 1992 guideline vs the 2014 version can affect their designs when specifying and installing low voltage ASDs.
